Core Supported Input and Output Formats

FinConv accepts uploaded files in PDF, JPG, PNG, and scanned PDF formats, with a maximum file size limit of 50MB. Password-protected bank statement PDFs are supported directly, so you do not need to unlock and resave the file before processing. Available export formats are Excel (XLSX), CSV, and JSON, so users can select the correct format for their downstream workflow.

Privacy and Usage Notes

• Uploaded files are sent to the AI provider for transaction extraction, and are not stored permanently by finconv.app

• Extraction uses AI assistance, so all users are advised to review the full output before using data for accounting, tax, or financial decision making

• The service is 100% free during the beta period. No paid subscription is currently required for full access, though sign-in is required to download full results.

• QIF, OFX, and QBO export formats are not available as of the current version, but are planned for future releases.

• Daily usage limits apply for bulk multi-file processing.
