AIBroll
AIBroll is an AI B-roll generator currently in development that creates custom motion design B-roll directly from user scripts, rather than pulling generic stock footage or generating random unaligned AI clips. The tool is purpose-built to produce clips that match specific lines, numbers, and ideas referenced in your source material.
Core Capabilities
AIBroll is being built to support the following functionality:
Reads full user scripts to generate tailored motion design B-roll aligned to individual lines of text
Creates kinetic type animations for key phrases and highlighted lines in your script
Generates animated charts and counters for all numbers, statistics, and data points referenced in your content
Produces custom icon motion sequences for concepts, processes, and ideas outlined in the script
Exports finished B-roll clips in three standard aspect ratios: 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1
Outputs standard video files that are fully compatible with all major professional and consumer video editors, including Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut
Unlike existing AI B-roll tools that rely on keyword searches to pull loosely related stock or generate unconnected photorealistic clips, AIBroll is designed to animate the exact content of your script. For example, a line reading "revenue grew 40% in Q3" will generate an animated bar chart that climbs to 40% and labels the quarter, rather than a generic stock shot of an office environment.
Planned Workflow
The three-step workflow AIBroll is being built to support is designed to minimize manual work for video creators:
Paste your full script, voiceover outline, or recording transcript into the tool. Every line of text is mapped to a dedicated slot on a generated timeline.
The tool automatically generates a matching B-roll clip for every line: numbers become animated charts, key phrases become kinetic type, and referenced ideas become icon motion, all built directly from the content of the line rather than a broad keyword search.
Download all finished clips in your chosen aspect ratio, and drop them directly into your preferred video editor for immediate use in your timeline.
Intended Audience
AIBroll is built for creators and editors who need precise, content-aligned motion graphics B-roll for their video projects, including:
Faceless YouTube and TikTok creators producing voiceover-first content with no on-camera A-roll
Explainer and education content creators turning processes, timelines, and statistics into easy-to-follow animated visuals
Advertisers and VSL creators placing key offers, proof points, and numbers on screen exactly when they are referenced in voiceover to drive viewer retention
Product and SaaS video creators showcasing features, workflows, and performance results without relying on generic stock footage of people working at laptops
Professional video editors looking to cut down the time spent sourcing or animating custom motion design B-roll for client projects
Current Status and Limitations
AIBroll is not yet publicly live, and remains in active development. Early access is available exclusively to users on the official waitlist. Key limitations for the first public version include:
The initial release will only generate B-roll from a user-provided script, and cannot automatically add B-roll to pre-recorded finished videos. Users with existing recorded footage can use the transcript of their recording as the input script for the tool.
The first version will only produce motion design graphic clips, and will not generate photorealistic footage of real people or physical locations.
Exact license terms for clips generated with AIBroll have not been finalized, and will be published alongside full product terms at public launch.
No official public launch date has been announced. Users on the waitlist will be contacted first when early access opens.
Pricing
Joining the AIBroll waitlist is completely free, and waitlist members will only receive communications related to early access for the product. Full pricing for AIBroll has not been finalized at this stage, and all pricing details will be published publicly before the product’s official launch.
