TierCove runs fully in your web browser, no download or mandatory sign-in required to start editing. The active draft saves locally to your browser automatically, so you do not lose progress if you refresh the page on the same device. It supports image uploads in JPG, PNG, WEBP format up to 5MB per file, plus plain text items for fast ranking of lists that do not need custom visuals. The interface works for both desktop drag-and-drop interactions and mobile tap-to-assign ranking for use on phones or tablets.
All AI features are available after sign-in and use allocated AI credits:
AI Quick Rank: Generates an initial tier placement suggestion from your uploaded items and your defined ranking standard. You keep full manual control to reorder or adjust all items after the AI returns its draft.
AI Ranking Reasons: Creates short custom explanations for why each item is placed in its assigned tier, which you can edit or delete before you share the final board.
AI Caption Writer: Generates ready-to-use social post text for your finished tier list, including Reddit titles, X posts, TikTok captions, and YouTube hook copy to reduce the extra work of publishing your ranking online.
Step-by-Step Workflow
Upload your custom images or paste plain text items directly into the editor.
Define your custom ranking standard, which can be quality, strength, value, popularity, fun, difficulty, or any other criteria specific to your list.
Use AI Quick Rank to get a suggested first draft of your tier list, if you do not want to build the full board manually.
Fine-tune the positions of every item, rename tiers, adjust labels, and edit any auto-generated ranking reasons.
Export your finished tier list as a PNG file, or save the project to cloud storage to access it later from a different device.
Pricing and Plan Limits
TierCove uses a freemium model with three clear tiers:
Free plan: Access full homepage editing, local autosave, watermarked PNG export, 1 public cloud project, 10 AI credits per day (no rollover), and up to 50 ranked items per tier list. No HD export or private projects are included.
Plus plan: Removes watermarks, adds HD export, unlocks unlimited cloud projects including private workspaces, provides 600 AI credits per month, and supports up to 200 ranked items per tier list. Yearly pricing is $6 per month, monthly pricing is $12 per month.
Pro plan: Includes all Plus features, 3000 AI credits per month, and support for up to 1000 ranked items per tier list for heavy creator use. Yearly pricing is $12 per month, monthly pricing is $24 per month.

The platform includes a large library of pre-made editable tier list templates for popular use cases, including fast food chains, Genshin Impact characters, Brawl Stars brawlers, Honkai Star Rail units, Zenless Zone Zero characters, League of Legends champions, anime shows, 2026 World Cup national teams, Pokemon, Marvel Rivals heroes, and more. Every template is fully customizable: you can rename tiers, replace images, add new items, and adjust the ranking criteria to match your personal preferences.
