Core Features

Sneks.lol is a browser-based take on the classic snake game that ties gameplay directly to your personal or business domain. No mandatory login is required to start playing immediately.

Each user gets 5 free runs per domain every UTC day, with free runs resetting at 00 UTC. When you play, you control your domain-named snake using arrow keys, WASD, click and drag, or touch swipe controls. Press ESC to pause the game at any point.

As you move the snake across the game board, you can reveal hidden favicon pixels to slowly build out the full logo for your domain. Your score, snake length, and level progress are verified server-side to prevent cheating.

Leaderboard System

All completed runs contribute to public global leaderboards sorted by highest score. Ties are broken by awarding higher rank to the run that was completed first. Leaderboards reset daily, and also include weekly and all-time ranking tracks to accommodate different play preferences.

Account and Verification Options

You can optionally sign in with a Google account to sync your credit balance and progress across multiple devices. Paid credits are attached to your Google account, not to a specific domain. One new run costs 1 credit, and you can spend 1 credit to continue an in-progress run within 30 minutes after your snake dies.

Optional DNS ownership verification lets you reserve a specific domain for your linked Google account, so no other user can claim that domain name for their profile on the leaderboard. Existing leaderboard entries for a domain remain unchanged after verification.
