MenuForma creates a full digital ordering system in three steps. First, upload any existing menu file as a PDF, photo, or paste a website link. The platform automatically processes the content to build a digital menu, translates it to more than 70 languages, and generates branded QR codes and public ordering links. You can then share the QR codes with customers to start receiving orders, payments, and review requests immediately. No custom app download is required for customers to access the menu or place orders.
QR Code and Order Mode Options
The platform supports 6 distinct QR code and order configurations to match different service styles:
Per-table QR codes: Each physical restaurant table gets a unique QR code, with all incoming orders automatically tagged with the table number so staff know exactly where to deliver items.
Unified QR: One single QR code for an entire venue, which assigns a unique order number to each customer. This is designed for cafes, food courts, and counter service locations.
Hotel / Room Service: QR codes assigned to individual room numbers, so guests can place room service orders immediately or schedule a specific delivery time.
Tablet Mode: An optimized in-store interface for shared devices, with PIN protection between customer sessions.
Self-Select mode: Customers browse the menu and pick items, but no orders are submitted to the system; they show their selection to a waiting staff member to place the order verbally.
Display Only mode: Customers can view the full menu but cannot select items or place orders, suitable for window displays, social media sharing, or public review sites.
All generated QR codes are fully customizable to add brand logos, custom colors, and custom call-to-action text.
EU Allergen Support: Built-in tools to display required allergen information on menus to meet EU food service compliance rules.
Google Review Boost: Automatically sends a review prompt to customers after they complete an order, to help businesses collect more public Google ratings.
