Core Product Architecture
TeamShift is built on three core components that work together to represent your exact business operations:
Digital Twin: A live, up-to-date record of every customer, job, quote, and invoice synced directly from your connected tools. Every fact stored in the digital twin includes a clear source reference, so you can trace where every piece of data came from at any time.
Your Memory: The system stores all of your stated rules, preferences, and past operating habits. It retains one-off instructions you enter (such as not booking work on Sundays) permanently, and never overwrites stored facts.
Your Team of AI Workers: An Operations lead coordinates a full set of specialist AI workers, each focused on a specific business function. You can describe any task in a natural sentence, and the lead will assign the work to the appropriate specialist, execute the task using your existing connected tools, and return you either a completed result or one single clear approval question.
Available AI Specialists
The platform includes 9 dedicated AI workers with no extra per-worker fees:
Operations Lead: Manages daily task prioritization, the task board, and ensures all in-progress jobs stay on track
Support Worker: Answers inbound customer calls and messages outside of business hours, and flags any issues that require your direct attention
Customer Success Worker: Runs proactive customer check-ins and identifies at-risk accounts before they churn
Sales Worker: Follows up on open leads to ensure no lead goes cold
Growth Worker: Tracks marketing operations, coordinates external marketing activities, and measures campaign performance against your metrics
Finance Worker: Monitors invoice status and cash flow, and never processes payments or refunds without your explicit approval
People Worker: Supports hiring, onboarding, and employee scheduling workflows
Content Worker: Writes and publishes scheduled posts, pages, and email campaigns aligned with your brand
Research Worker: Runs competitor, pricing, and market research and delivers evidence-based actionable outputs
Supported Integrations
TeamShift connects directly to common business tools you may already run, including QuickBooks, HubSpot, Stripe, Shopify, Google Calendar, Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, plus any additional tools you run on supported platforms. You choose exactly what data the platform is permitted to read, and you can adjust or revoke those permissions at any time from the Company Brain dashboard.
Workflow Process
There are four simple onboarding and operation steps, with no new custom dashboard required for you to learn:
Connect the existing tools you already use for email, calendar, accounting, and customer management
TeamShift learns your operating rules, price ranges, service policies, and existing customer and job data directly from these connected sources. It will explicitly flag any conflicting data or points of uncertainty for you to resolve before proceeding
Hand off entire jobs to the AI team using a single natural language request
You only need to respond to one clear decision question when an action affects customers, moves money, or requires your unique judgment. Your response is saved permanently to Your Memory to inform all future similar tasks.
Safety and Accountability Features
All high-stakes actions (refunds, deletions, payroll changes, public customer communications) are blocked from running automatically by default, and will wait for your explicit approval. Every single action, message, and decision made by the AI team is fully logged for full auditability. You can adjust which actions require your sign-off at any time, and the platform will never guess at uncertain data: it will ask you for clarification instead.
Pricing Structure
There are no per-seat fees, no mandatory subscriptions, and no monthly minimums:
Creating your workspace and connecting your tools is 100% free, with no charges until actual work runs
All work is billed at a rate of 3x the raw compute cost of the task being run
Every job you submit will get a pre-quoted maximum cost before any work begins, so you will never get unexpected bills
You can set hard daily and monthly spend caps to control total usage
Multi-location enterprise plans are available with shared approval policies and dedicated support, available by direct contact
How Routines Work
After the AI team completes a job successfully multiple times, the system can propose turning that repeated task into a standardized routine. Before a routine is allowed to run fully autonomously, it will run silently in parallel to your existing live operations for validation, and will only be activated once you give it explicit approval. If a routine ever produces results that fall outside your expected operating parameters, it will automatically revert to full careful, step-by-step review mode until it proves its reliability again.
