What are Quills used for?
Quills are the usage credit for Advanced AI models. Every paid plan includes a daily and monthly Quill allowance, and each Advanced model scene has a fixed Quill cost displayed before generation, while Lite and Balanced models do not use Quills.
What happens when I run out of Quills?
Your daily Quill allowance resets each day, and your monthly Quill allowance resets at the start of your next billing period. Until then, you can continue writing on the Balanced and Lite models, or purchase a one-time Quill bundle to top up.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans have a lower effective monthly cost than monthly plans, with the full annual amount charged once at purchase and renewing one year later. You can switch between monthly and annual plans from your account settings, with changes taking effect at your next renewal date.
Who can view the stories I create?
Your stories are private by default. Other users can only see your stories if you manually choose to publish or share them publicly on the community library.
What does unlimited within fair use mean?
On paid plans, Balanced and Lite models are not metered with Quills. A soft daily fair-use cap exists only to block automated bulk generation, and regular human writing activity will not reach this limit.
